The Dermanakis family has been producing top-quality honey and bee products for three generations in the picturesque area of Ebrosneros in Chania, Crete. Since 1980, the family has nurtured a legacy of excellence, and for the last ten years, they have packaged their products in their own certified facilities that meet the strict standards of HACCP and ISO 22000, ensuring both safety and quality.

The bee colonies are carefully moved across Crete to reflect the unique characteristics of the island’s diverse landscapes. Coastal areas such as Gramvousa, Elafonissi, Vouvas in Sfakia, and Prodromi in Selino are ideal for producing delicate thyme honey, while the mountainous plateaus of Omalos (near the Samaria Gorge), Niatos, and Askifou enrich the flavor profile with depth and complexity.
